Keeping The Momentum

You 12’s are awesome! Once again, you guys were able to bring the noise at home and help us pull off another win. The Eagles came ready to play, but we were able to execute our game plan and come out on top. Overall, I am happy with the way we got after it coming off of a tight victory in Foxboro. We just have to take this energy and keep running with it for the rest of the season.

Everyone played a great game. Russ has been on fire lately! It amazes me how dynamic he is behind center. His ability to extend plays with his legs and arm are what makes him one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Can’t say this enough, Doug Baldwin is the man! If you put him in the backfield, he can run. If you put him as a quarterback, he can pass! He can do it all. Got three wins in a row so we have to keep this momentum up. We have the Bucs next in Tampa Bay. We have to work on holding their run game and Jameis Winston.

Tampa Bay has a lot of offensive weapons and are capable of breaking a big play on any given snap. Jameis Winston is progressing well. Mike Evans is a big threat, he reminds me of Michael Floyd. They’re both similar in the way they move and maneuver. We need to make sure we communicate on coverage to keep him blanketed.

We couldn’t be more pumped for the battle that’s ahead of us.

With Thanksgiving coming up, I just wanted to take some time and reflect on this year and what I’m grateful for in life. We all need to appreciate these times with our loved ones. My parents have always emphasized to use Thanksgiving as a day to be thankful for everything you have and do your best to give back to those less fortunate.

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
