We Want All The Pressure
There may have been some doubt in the minds of other people if I was going to play last week, but I love playing football and I was going to do everything I could to play. The hamstring is continuing to heal slowly. It was definitely sore last week against Green Bay. Some lateral movements were more difficult for me than they normally are. We just have to keep working on it and get more treatment on it so we can continue to make progress with it.
I am not going to miss a chance to be out on the field with our solid defense. We love having the pressure put on us as a unit. You won’t ever find a great defense that doesn’t want the pressure put on them. If you find a great defense that doesn’t want the pressure put on them then you didn’t find a great defense. That’s the kind of defense we are: we want all the pressure.

Our front seven has been ferocious so far this season. Sheldon has been a great addition to our team. He presence and play has helped take some of the double teams off Mike Bennett. That has helped our whole defense be more dynamic and free guys up to make big plays.
We are looking forward to the challenge of facing the Titans and Marcus Mariota this week. He has done a great job of developing as a quarterback since he came into the league. He’s always been great in the red zone and he does a good job of picking his spots. He won’t take a lot of chances out there and he will use his legs or check it down if nothing is there. A lot of people pegged him as a one trick pony in his offense at Oregon but he’s done a great job of showing he can stay poised in the pocket and go through his progressions. Can’t wait to go against the Titans this week. Go Hawks!
