Richard Sherman Shares Message of Encouragement Toward Julian Edelman
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman wished the best for New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman, who suffered a knee injury during Friday night’s preseason Week 3 game.
Edelman’s injury is feared to be a torn ACL, according to multiple reports.
“Damn hate to see that happen. I’m praying for a fast recovery for @edelman11 ! Hard worker and great competitor,” Sherman wrote early in the morning on Saturday.

Sherman was fresh of the Seattle Seahawks’ 26-13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, who also lost a player to a knee injury in Spencer Ware.
Edelman’s non-contact knee injury came in the first quarter of Friday night’s game. Edelman cut to his left on his right knee, which buckled. He went to the ground in apparent pain, and limped off the field. After spending time in the medical tent, he was carted to the locker room
